Jacob & Co. has had another beast of a wrist watch to the watch world. The valuable New York watchmaker has just introduced a new high-complication tourbillon motivated by the high-performance Bugatti Chiron.

The watch is one of a several watches to come out of the multi-year collaboration between the two high-class brands that began inside 2019. Like its precursor, the watch features a functional small replica of the Chiron's W16-cylinder engine to satisfy petrolheads, yet it's even more blingy in features.

In fact , the watch is set without less than 190 baguette whitened diamonds, 109 baguette dark-colored sapphires, and 42 kuvertbr?d orange sapphires, all set invisibly in the 18K white gold tonneau-shaped case. Jacob & Co. says the gem setters applied new know-how and innovative techniques to perfectly set these kinds of rare gems together. Computing 55mm x 44mm, the truth also features the same sleek design as the Chiron and is also emblazoned with multiple Bugatti logos.

Like the French brand's curvaceous supercar, there's a lot of sophisticated engineering in this six-figure watch, including a flying tourbillon mounted on a 30-degree tend. Similar to the real-life Chiron's 7. 0-liter 16-cylinder engine, this timepiece produces a staggering 1, five-hundred horsepower, with 16 small pistons and a tiny reliable steel crankshaft that movements up and down like a normal generator. Meanwhile, two “turbochargers” (the actual Bugatti has four) spin simultaneously for included oomph.

Once again, the watch will be powered by Jacob and Co. 's JCAM37 manual-winding movement, which is comprised of roughly 578 parts. The movements is suspended in several positions, with parts that will resemble the Chiron's true automotive shock absorbers, visible by means of sapphire crystal windows. The particular movement has a 60-hour reserve of power, indicated by the universal gasoline pump symbol on the side in the instrument panel at eight o'clock.
